Why choose the ReStore?
We keep items out of the landfill, giving them their second life. Revenue generated by the ReStores contributes significantly to Habitat Victoria’s mission of building strength, stability and independence through affordable homeownership for local families.
How does it work?
Our ReStore Donations team facilitates the easy donation of your quality items by offering two locations for easy drop off as well as a pick-up service. Our team services Sooke to Mill Bay, from Victoria to the Gulf Islands. Check out our list of generally accepted donation items.
We will:
Save your business or clients the hassle and expense of disposing useable items at the landfill
Provide you with a donation receipt for donated items
New merchandise is eligible for a tax receipt at 50% of the retail price of goods
Used merchandise is eligible for a tax receipt at the ReStore value. The ReStore value is the price at which the ReStore can resell the materials.
